What else do you want to see?
I hope that my Union Brothers and Sisters are enjoying the new site, and in what direction we are taking it. I appreciate your comments, however I would like to encourage you to give me your ideas of what sort of topics you would like to see. If you see a topic you like or dislike, feel free to comment your thoughts. I look forward to hear from you.

Great job. we have music.
Yeah, Eddie Salinas decided we needed some music so here we go, Sounds Good Huh?
When do we get to see pictures or video of our rallies
In response to your question, Jose Cantu provided us with a small sample of the first one held at the McAllen Work Center but the clip was too short. He has told me he will get new footage so that we can set it up.
Eddie doesn’t like queen or does he?
Eddie likes a little bit of everything, He said some people will sing along and some won’t and Eli get some sleep dude!
How well do you know your CWA history? If you are not sure check out the tips under ” categories” and find out the importance of being a member.
webmaster can you create a slot under categories for the CWA history instead of posting it under latest news? just a thought

Someone asked for the lower valley steward list. Can you please post?
Ok, Created a cwa history Category.
You guys are doing a good job. Keep up the good work. You have my support. The winds of change are blowing! Or was that lunch? who knows. United we stand…Divided we fall.
A message board for members opinions,Q & A ,information or just to chat without identifying the member to really know what members are thinking I know for a fact some members just want to stay under the radar so they don’t voice their concerns and stay uninformed.
looking for report #13 anybody know where to find it?
For some reason it did not post, it is up now.
thankyou for report 13 I tell bargaining at these point does not look good in 83 bargaining was not half as bad as what we got going today and we walked for 22 days…We have to stand firm my union brothers and sisters… Lets show our union colors and stop useing the att logo.
It is said it takes years for a tec to get the experience to do his job well. How can a bunch of inexperienced scabs and slightly crossed trained managers handle the work load. You know union workers will leave the job very unhappy, leaving many more problems than normal. In just a matter of days customers will be very upset with the delays and incompetence. During the last strike I called to remove all extra services from my line(cid, cw etc) what total incompetence. It must have taken 30 minutes to complete something that would normally take 4 minutes. Since then I have never returned to those services. Instead I have relied more on my cell phone and now on my magic jack. This will be a catalyst for customers to rely more on their cell phones and internet phones. In many ways I think the union needs to work with the company, but the company is not suffering like the economy. Instead it is continuing to be extremely wasteful with its upper management and retired ceo. NEVER IN THE US HISTORY HAS A CEO RECEIVED SUCH A RETIREMENT PACKAGE AS ED RECEIVED.
Why do some of the retired workers think it is ok to cross the line and agree to benefit cuts going on for the rest of their lives??!? Very short term thinking. To tell you the truth I do not want a strike. It will be very harmful to my family, me, my job, my co workers and the company. U.S. Soldiers are not wimps and they get the job done. CWA union workers are not wimps and we get the job done. Wimps get trampled on and lose everything.
Ok, I know it is hard but please spell my name right. Elsclager!
Thanks,
Theresa Elsclager, steward, Edinburg CO
Please advise as to where your name was spelled wrong
I don’t know what is so CRYSTAL CLEAR about report#15. What are issues on the table concerning healthcare? I think we should be getting some meat from these reports.
The JOB STEWARD tab is incomplete….missing lower valley folks. Can we please have that updated?
Thank you for pointing that out, I can only post what has been provided to me. Please contact your officers and advise them to forward the information to me so that the members from the lower valley can know who are the official active job stewards in their area. Until that information is given to me by the officers I cannot officially post it.
I agree with Mr. JR we are getting very little information from the reports.
Just a suggestion about posting’s, Might help to actually set up a Forum with threaded subject to make it easier to keep track of posts that pertain to certain subjects. The categories on the side maybe confusing to some looking for replies to particular postings.
One more thing, other than posting what do I gain from actually logging in versus just looking at the website not logged in. I do not see any difference, looks like the same information logged in as logged out. Only thing I see is just able to post messages.
In response to your request, a Forum has been set up within our website so that can discuss certain topics of interest between the members. If there is a certain subject that you think would be of interest to the members please let us know.
In response to logging on, we have now blocked access to anyone from logging on to any of our website pages unless you are a verified user. We have already denied access to several people who are not coming up on our list of active members in good standing with our local. Please advise your friends that this website is always developing and that we want everyone to be a part of it, but they need to register.
